Another book from the series Animados. This one has two stories, one is the Squirrel and the mole and the second one is the Snail and the lizard.

I love these books, I've got three of them. They contain 2 fairy tales, illustrated in a happy, colorful style. I'll show the other two books in a different post.

Two lovely vintage children's books written by the Danish-American writer Else Holmelund Minarik. The illustrations are by Maurice Sendak, who's most famous for his book 'Where the wild things are'.   

 

Rhymes for children

Just love the way this book is illustrated! The book is from 1958.
