Martin Parr - Flowers

Fantastic colourful book, by Magnum Photographer Martin Parr. The colours seem even more bright because of the facing black pages.

Roya Hamburger

I remember Roya Hamburger from when I used to work with illustrators a lot. I got to see a lot of portfolios in those days and now and then had the opportunity to work with a talented illustrator. Roya Hamburger caught my eye each time. Her name is isn't a typical Dutch, so that helps. But I remember her beautiful work as well and it's great to see what it developed into!

Jen Stark

You've probably all seen this work by American artist Jen Stark before, but I just couldn't resist blogging it as well. The works shown here are paper sculptures which attract me the most.
Her ideas are based on replication, infinity and echoing patterns. She draws inspiration from microscopic patterns in nature, fractals, wormholes, and MRI scans.
