Grandfather's diplomas

My grandfather was a policeman and worked for the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee. He kept all his diplomas in a folder which I discovered a few weeks ago at my parent's house. It looks like he graduated in just about anything: swimming, writing, loyalty, selfdevelopment, etc.

Polar & Nexus

Munken Polar is a paper brand created by Arctic Paper. FF Nexus is a typeface created by Martin Majoor. This book shows how versatile the paper as well as the typeface is.

Martin Majoor was my typedesign teacher in Art College. My love for type and typedesign started there. Unfortunately I never persisted in it after I graduated from college. Looking back I wish I did, though...
Back then I designed my own typeface, I hope to be able to show it here one day, I'm still trying to locate my old portfolio!
