Today, exactly 50 years ago, my parents got married. Next weekend we'll be celebrating this wonderful occasion. But today I say to them, congratulations!!
A long time ago I fell in love with these dog portraits painted by Franka van der Loo. I bought postcards of the paintings but I had forgotten all about them, untill a few weeks ago when I was going through a closet and discovered the framed postcards. I'll put them on the wall soon!
Yesterday was father's day. No, I did not forget... but I did forget to dedicate a post to my father. My dad used to be a coal merchant back in the sixties and early seventies. He owned the company together with his brother. These bills are memorabilia items from that period.
In my earlier blogpost I referred to this box, which I bought the other day. A vintage wooden box which served as sewing kit. A few things where in it, the best item was of course the pair of scissors in the original box.
The other day I bought a wooden box with vintage sewing material. The owner threw in this old magazine with knitting patterns and inspirational photos. So great these old fashion pictures, especially if the weren't meant for high fashion.
Judy Kaufmann lives in Barcelona. According to herself she was never interested in economics, law, or even art, but somewhere she began to draw stories of her life. And she does that beautifully! She sells her stuff through Etsy.
