Michael Wolf - Architecture of density

I'm definately not the first one to blog about Michael Wolf but I couldn't help myself... I love this project, not just how it looks but the story it tells is amazing and actually rather sad. It shows overcrowded, faceless and nameless urban structures, the beautiful repetition makes it abstract.

Solitaire

This is one of my favourite puzzles, I learned to solve this one around the same time I learned to solve the Rubik's cube. It must have when I was 13 or 14. I'm still able to solve this puzzle and I was able to solve the cube until a few years ago. But I think dementia has crept in 'cause I have forgotten how to solve Rubik's cube.

I have this game in a few versions. One of them was made by my father.

I bought these beautiful vintage books. When I got home I actually realised what a treasure I bought! The magazines are from 1863-1865 and show the most beautiful encyclopedic illustrations about fashion, hair styles, and of course lots of examples for needlework
