Y a un truc!

Y a un Truc by Stéphane Kielh:

Years ago, before I had kids I wasn't really that interested in children's books. But this one really caught my eye. I bought it in the Centre Pompidou in Paris. I hardly speak or read any French so I was never able to read it to my kids. Unfortunately!
"Bernard Majox est un grand magicien. Il sait tout faire : de la lévitation, faire sortir un lapin de son chapeau, deviner les dates de naissance, faire apparaître des flammes au bout de ses doigts. Mais « y a un truc » ! Bernard Majox a un secret : des petits amis extraterrestres transparents qui l'aident à exécuter tous ses tours."

Tin boxes

A few new vintage tin boxes, I only collect the smaller ones.

A woman's realm

Dutch vintage magazine for women from 1951. I picked it up in a thriftshop, unfortunately someone coloured the eyebrows here and there with a pen. I guess that never gets out of fashion!

Rie Cramer - Catbook

Great picture book by Rie Cramer, illustrator of children's books. Her work is still quite famous in the Netherlands.

Alida Sayer - Atlas

I came across this wonderful project by Alida Rosie Sayer.
Sayer is a visual designer living and working in London. She works across the fields of typography, graphic design, 3D-design, animation and illustration using a combination of both hand-crafted and digital processes.
