Birthday boy

Our son turned 6 last week, but eveyone was still on holiday. So we decided to have his party in September. This is the invitation I made for his party. (Click on the image to enlarge)

Happy 50th anniversary!

Today, exactly 50 years ago, my parents got married. Next weekend we'll be celebrating this wonderful occasion. But today I say to them, congratulations!!

Pictoplasma

This weekend I will be attending the Pictoplasma festival in Berlin. My friend Marlène invited me out of the blue to come along. How great is that!! So I'm checking out for a weekend, I'll post about it when I'm back in town. Hopefully I'll be full of inspiration...

Cars, cars, cars

Lewis is 4 years old now, but when he was 2 all he played with were cars. So, the obvious choice was a birthday invitation with a car on the front. It was clear that it was a wishlist as well...

Love and marriage

This wedding invitation is the first one I made, ever. I still like the idea of the transparant paper and the building ornaments but I would definitely change the typography now.

Turning 75

Last year my father turned 75 and my mother wanted to surprise him with a party. I made the invitiations and used old postcards for the design. My father originates from Breskens, a small town with a fishing port. My father collects old postcards from that town so this design was truly inspired by him!

Creatures

This is the birthdaycard I designed for Lewis' 4th b-day. I made him a friend-book with these creature as well. I'll post that soon. The book is constantly 'on the road' travelling from one classmate to another.

Seems a long time ago

These two birthday-invitations are made a year ago but looking at the pictures it seems much longer. The kids look a lot different now. How time flies!

Partytime in the woods

Mila turned 7, enough reason to get behind the computer and design an invitation for her party. Fortunately the weather was well enough to celebrate her autumn-birthday in the woods at Lage Vuursche.
