Bye bye!!

Hi there! It's been a while since I posted something here. I've been busy drawing and working on my portfolio site which has taken up all my spare time. 

Besides that I've decided not to put a lot of effort in this blog anymore. The Turning Pages blog was my personal space on the internet where I showed my portfolio, where I collected inspiration and where I archived my vintage stuff. 

All of that has changed:

- I have a portfolio site and blog 

- I collect my inspiration on Pinterest 

and... I've decided to stop collecting vintage stuff... My house was getting too cluttered! 

I hope to see you on Pinterest, Instagram or any of the other social media.

Vintage sports and games

This is a small vintage book about sports and games at school.

Someone else's vintage photos

I bought these photos and negatives the other day. It's always a bit puzzling how these photos end up at a flea market or in a thriftshop. As if no relative was interested in holding on to these photos as a memory. A bit sad actually. 

I was happy to have found them, though!

Crochet for kids clothing

I never got the hang of crochet, knitting was more my thing. But I love these old needlework books. I actually have quite a few in my collection. All beautiful ones with wonderful graphic illustrations and - sometimes - hilarious pictures.

Signs

A sign bought at my favorite thrift shop. However, I have doubts about its authenticity.

I bought a vintage zoo stroller a few years ago at the Amersfoort Zoo. Really beautiful item but too big to hold on to. So we screwed off the horses' head... 

Vintage lotto game

A lotto game from the mid fifties. 

I guess the game pieces got lost, buttons were used instead.
