I'm not a big fan of cars but this French vintage brochure is amazing! This product brochure orginates from around 1960 I guess. Check out the black and white picture on the second image (click on it to enlarge); it's a really weird situation. It looks as though the car is speeding on two wheels, but no one seems to be in the drive'r's seat...

Leyno - Ashley Noben

I came across Ashley's work while googling for something completely different. Her work caught my eye immediately and I guess you can imagine why! Ashley is a Belgian graphic designer and illustrator who loves to use embroidery in her work. 'Embroidery with a twist' she calls it.

Victorian clipart

This kind of clipart is very popular amongst crafty folks. For scrapbooking, card design and probably a lot of other craft techniques which I know nothing about...
However, when I was young we used these pictures to enlighten a page in a friendship book such as you can see here. Unfortunately these are replicas. The authentics ones are quite hard to find and/or are rather expensive. I love these images, cutting them out would be a shame!

Agenda 1999
