Anna Rusakova

On Behance Network I came across the very talented Ukrainian illustrator Anna Rusakova. Her work is very delicate and beautiful. She has a great feeling for typography, calligraphy and layout. Her Moleskines are absolutely fantastic, truly inspiring!

Okkie Pepernoot

I came across these lovely children's books in my favourite thrift shop and much to my surprise I noticed they were from my old school! The black and white illustrations made by the author himself are really cute. I'll scan the best ones and post them another time.

FontFont Focus - Meta

One of my all time favorite typefaces is Meta by German designer Erik Spiekermann. The designagency I used to work for in Amsterdam (Eden Design & Communication) merged with Spiekermann's company in Berlin (SpiekermannPartners). 
The comapny is now called Edenspiekermann and is situated in Amsterdam, Berlin and Stuttgart.

( Ma + Chr )

( Ma + Chr ) is an art and design studio based in Paris, founded by Mathilde Aubier and Christine Delaquaize. In their work they cover many areas, from web to print, interior design, textile and illustration.

FontFont Focus

FontFocus is a publication by typefoundry the Fontshop and (who would have guessed) on a particular typeface. It shows first sketches, all the characters, weight overviews, text samples. In fact, anything to get you to purchase the typeface.
