Family savings

We saved up enough for our family vacation. This time we're going on a short city trip. To London, YAY!

Next Wednesday we'll be taking the Eurostar highspeed train from Brussels to London St. Pancras. We're all very excited to go!   

In loving memory

Two weeks ago my dear father died after struggling with cancer for 1,5 years. He was 78 years old.

Although missing him is a terrible feeling, we're all at peace with the knowledge he doesn't have to suffer any longer.

I took these photos in his last hours. I guess I needed the symbolism...

He spent his last 7 weeks in a hospice where he received constant and loving care.

Just a few weeks before he died my parents 'celebrated' their 52nd wedding anniversary.

I designed the funeral card.

My father and my son about 5 years ago. A happy memory: this was at his granddaughter's wedding. 

Squeaky toys

I have a small collection of these. About 15-20 squeaky toys. If I had more space I would be collecting them more enthusiastically. I guess it's a good thing I'm forced to keep it small ;-)
