Quipic le Hérisson

Maybe someone can help me out on this one? I bought this vintage children's book a few months ago in a shop and although it was on sale it was still quite expensive. Is it highly collectable? I haven't got a clue and Google wasn't very helpful either...

  1. Perhaps because it's illustrated by Feodor Rojankovsky, he's was a well-known Russian artist who has illustrated quite a few little golden books (gouden boekjes).
Or the fact that it is an old Pere Castor book.
More collected by people abroad i think..?

    1. Thanks for your comment, I hadn't researched Rojankovsky. Wonderful work!

  2. Yes, Père Castor books seem quite sought after , even here in France. I love them and have a few but not this one, and it looks old.
